Matz will lead Aternity's strategic and operational initiatives with a focus on aggressive market growth through the U.S., EMEA and Pacific Rim.
A highly accomplished executive and IT industry veteran, Matz brings more than 15 years of sales and marketing leadership and demonstrated success in increasing sales, global market share and profitability to his new role. Prior to joining Aternity, Matz served as worldwide Managing Director, Application Integration for InterSystems Corporation, a leading provider of database and integration software. He led the team that took the Ensemble integration platform from product launch to recognition as the premier integration platform in healthcare. Prior to that, Matz served as managing director for Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, India and Africa geographies after establishing and leading InterSystems’ operations in Israel and South Africa.
Before joining InterSystems, Matz was founder, President and CEO of Route Link, a leading systems integration and groupware development company. Previous experience included stints with top-tier Israeli and South African IT firms including Mashov Computers, the exclusive Novell distributor in Israel, MLL Computers and Punch Line. Matz has a computer science and information systems degree from the University of South Africa.
