Amnon Yacoby - Chairman (Co-Founder)

Amnon Yacoby is a serial entrepreneur, with significant credentials as founder and CEO of Floware, which since founding became a leading vendor in the Broadband Wireless Access market, went public on the NASDAQ in 2000, and merged with BreezeCOM in 2001, to form the largest vendor in that space, now called Alvarion [NASDAQ: ALVR]. Before that Amnon founded and was CEO of RAD Network devices, which eventually split into three companies - Radware (NASDAQ:RDWR), RadWiz (sold to Terayon) and RadLAN (sold to Marvel). Prior to this Amnon led a special technology unit in the Israeli intelligence forces, and received two special Israeli Security Prizes (sponsored by the Israeli government) for his special achievements.

Amnon currently serves as a Director at Alvarion, as well as a Director at the board of ImageID Ltd.

Amnon holds EE BSc and EE MSc degrees, both from the Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.


Yifat Oron - Partner, Vertex Venture Capital

Yifat Oron strengthens the team with her vast knowledge of the international telecom and capital markets, and her M&A deal experience. Prior to joining Vertex Venture Capital, Mrs. Oron was an investment banker in the Global Technology, Media and Telecom Group at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York, where she performed financial analysis and built valuation models for a wide range of products including: mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, fixed income and syndicated finance. Mrs. Oron also worked as a management consultant for a leading Israeli economic consulting firm, Dan Tahori Management Consulting Ltd. Mrs. Oron spent three years at the Directorate of R&D of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, having achieved the rank of Lieutenant in the role of the Assistant to the Director of Economics, Budget & Control Department. Mrs. Oron holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Tel-Aviv University and a B.A in Economics and Management (cum laude) from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.


Eddy Shalev, Founder & Managing Partner, Genesis Partners

Eddy Shalev is the Founder and Managing Partner of Genesis Partners, a leading Israel venture capital fund with more than $500 million under management. Eddy is one of the best-known figures in the business community and is recognized as a pioneer of Israel’s investment banking and venture capital industry. Eddy has been an active private-equity investor since 1992, when he began a private equity investment program that invested in early-stage Israeli high-tech companies, and has played a key role in several high-profile success stories, including Fundtech, Paradigm Geophysical and Orbot Instruments. Beginning in 1985, he led the Israeli affiliates of Oscar Gruss and Sons Inc., and then later CIBC-Oppenheimer, where he directed the firm’s corporate banking, sales and trading, and equity research for Israeli companies traded on NASDAQ. Eddy also co-founded the Mofet Israel Technology Fund, one of Israel's first venture capital firms. Eddy began his career with IBM, where he served as a Large Systems Expert and Account Executive for IBM Israel and as a Large Accounts Strategic Planner for IBM United Kingdom. Eddy holds an MSc in Information Systems and a BA in Statistics, both from Tel Aviv University.


Assaf Topaz - Partner, Clal Industries and Investments Ltd.

Mr. Topaz joined IDB-Clal group in 2004 bringing extensive experience in strategic marketing, operations and management of fast growing companies in an international arena. His areas of expertise include Information Technology, Enterprise Software and Internet & Cellular applications. Mr. Topaz is a Board Member at several of IDB-Clal's group companies including Enure and Jordan Valley. Prior to IDB-Clal, Mr. Topaz was a Co-Founder and COO of Gilian Technologies (acquired by Breach Security Inc.), a leading provider of application security for the corporate market. During his tenure at Gilian Technologies, Mr. Topaz led the operations in the U.S. headquarters and the Israeli R&D center. Prior to this post, Mr. Topaz held executive positions in leading marketing and advertising consulting firms, such as McCann-Erickson Kesher-Barel and ZSZ-Euro RSCG. Mr. Topaz holds a B.A degree in Economics and Geography from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a M.Sc in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business, California.


Trevor Matz, President & CEO, Aternity

Trevor Matz has built and led world class sales and marketing organizations for enterprise software and services companies globally. Prior to joining Aternity, Matz served as worldwide managing director of Application Integration for InterSystems Corporation where he took Ensemble from launch through recognition as the #1 Integration Platform in HealthCare. Prior to his global responsibilities for InterSystems integration initiative, Matz served as managing director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, India and Africa after establishing and managing InterSystems’ operations in Israel and South Africa. Before joining InterSystems, Matz was president and CEO of Route Link for eight years, a leading systems integration and groupware development company that he founded and managed. Prior to founding Route Link, he was vice president of Mashov Computers, the exclusive Novell distributor in Israel, where he was responsible for Novell's Israeli operations. His background includes twenty years of technical, marketing and sales management experience in the IT industry. Matz has a computer science and information systems degree from the University of South Africa.
